Análise de pórticos no regime elasto-plástico

The aim of the present work is the elastic-plastic analysis of frames, made only beams and columns, taking into account the geometrical non-linearity of the structure and physical non-linearity of the material. As results from the analysis, it can be obtained, the internal forces in the members, load-displacement relations, position and sequence of appearing of plastic hinges, ultimate load and the cause of instability of the structure. The P-Delta effect, the reduction of moments in plastification, the change of stiffness caused by axial forces in the columns and strain reversal of plastic hinges are taken into account in this analysis.
