A aprendizagem do léxico do inglês como terceira língua: um estudo com foco em influências translinguísticas

Resumo

Neste estudo analisa-se a influência translinguística lexical na aprendizagem do inglês como terceira língua. Participaram deste estudo dois grupos de bilíngues (precoces e tardios), aprendizes de inglês como terceira língua, e um grupo de aprendizes de inglês como segunda língua, todos falantes nativos de Português Brasileiro. Os dados obtidos através de duas tarefas narrativas foram analisados com foco na língua de origem da transferência linguística na produção do inglês e quanto aos fatores que podem interagir com a influência translinguística, como tipologia, recentividade, ordem de aquisição e status da segunda língua. Os resultados deste estudo mostraram que a origem de transferência linguística no nível lexical para os aprendizes de inglês como terceira língua vem da língua nativa, o Português Brasileiro.
