TABLE-Slovak ruling party Smer slips further in poll before election

Smer remained in the lead but support for ?????? a number of small opposition parties, from the far-right People's Party to centrist and conservative movements, made it difficult to predict who will be able to form a parliamentary majority. The poll, conducted among 1,000 people between Jan. 7 and 9, showed six opposition parties, excluding the far-right, could win a majority of the seats combined.
