Two men will face court after they allegedly coughed at police, ???? supermarket employees and shoppers in separate NSW incidents.

NSW Police say they were called to a reported domestic incident involving a man and a teenage boy at a Plumpton home in Sydney's northwest on Thursday afternoon.

At the scene, the 22-year-old man allegedly ran at the officers and coughed towards their faces.

He was charged with intimidating an officer, resisting an officer, damaging or destroying property and common assault.

"Police will allege in court that the man assaulted a 13-year-old boy who was known to him and destroyed property inside the Plumpton home," a police spokesperson said in a statement on Friday.

He was refused bail before a scheduled appearance at Mount Druitt Local Court on Friday.

Hours later, police on the Central Coast were called to a Lake Haven shopping centre following reports a man was coughing on people.

A 48-year-old was arrested and taken to hospital before being issued with a court attendance notice for stalking and intimidation and breach of bail.

He's scheduled to appear at Wyong Local Court in May.
