RESUMO: O presente trabalho visa investigar minicontos de Lia Beltrão publicados no site literário Escritoras Suicidas, salientando os vestígios da tradição romântica a partir do subjetivismo encontrado na escrita da autora. Os textos estudados apresentam-se com um campo de instauração de novos significados; além disso, analisam-se conexões entre a identidade e a escrita de si que emerge no contemporâneo como campo de criação pelo qual a escrita de autoria feminina instaura novos significados ao ficcionalizar experiências vividas. Romantic literature footprints in contemporary women’s writing ABSTRACT: In this paper, I try to investigate three ministories Lia Beltran published in the literary site “Suicides Writers”, emphasizing footprints of the Romantic tradition in the subjectivism found in her writings. The texts present the introduction of new meanings to the romantic idea; furthermore, I analyze connections between identity and the writing itself which emerges as the contemporary field of creation by which women’s writing introduce new meanings to fictionalize experiences lived. RESUMO: O presente artigo tem como objetivo relacionar características temáticas do movimento romântico com a literatura contemporânea, levando em consideração a presença da autoria feminina desde o século XXI. Considera-se de fundamental importância trazer à luz a obra de escritoras do passado e mostrar o eco de suas obras na produção literária do presente. Para isso é analisado o romance Antes que o amor acabe, de Patrícia Bins, além de outras obras de autoras dos séculos XX e XXI. Female authorship: romanticism in contemporary literature? ABSTRACT: This article aims to relate thematic characteristics of the Romantic movement in contemporary literature, taking into account the presence of female authorship in the XXI century. It is of fundamental importance to bring to light the work of women writers of the past and show the echo their works in the literary production of present times. RESUMO: Neste artigo, apresentamos uma proposta interpretativa para o romance Desonra, de J.M. Coetzee, à luz da ironia romântica. Através dela, remetemos aos possíveis conhecimentos gerados e veiculados pela obra a partir da leitura realizada. A hipótese norteadora é a de que se trata de uma narrativa literária que apresenta problemas contundentes do mundo contemporâneo, tais como mudanças socioculturais significativas e situações específicas inerentes à condição humana. Abordamos a questão da ironia romântica considerando-a como a perspectiva filosófica que possibilita nossa proposta interpretativa. ABSTRACT: In this article, we present an interpretative proposal for J. M. Coetzee’s Desonra (Disgrace) in the light of romantic irony. Through it, we refer to the possible knowledge generated and transmitted by the novel. The guiding hypothesis is that it shows a literary narrative that presents overwhelming problems of the contemporary world, such as significant social and cultural changes, and situations inherent to the human condition. We approach the issue of romantic irony considering it from a philosophical perspective that enables our interpretive proposal. KEYWORDS: Desonra. Narrative. Romantic irony. RESUMO: A ironia romântica de Friedrich Schlegel (1772-1829) assimila a antiga ironia socrática, reinterpreta seu significado e a insere como um dos elementos centrais de sua teorização crítico-literária. Enquanto beleza lógica e forma do paradoxo, ela é um instrumento de metacrítica e locus de autorreflexão filosófica e crítico-literária. Esse artigo analisa e discute a ironia romântica e sua inserção no romance Mayombe (1980), de Artur Carlos Maurício Pestana dos Santos, o Pepetela. Busca-se compreender como a ironia romântica transforma a obra em espaço de reflexão sobre os problemas sociais de seu tempo, possibilita a exteriorização objetiva, ao mesmo tempo em que permite a incorporação dialética da própria história. ABSTRACT: Friedrich Schlegel’s romantic irony assimilates the ancient Socratic irony and reinterprets its meaning, inserting it as one of the nuclear elements of his theory of literary criticism. As a kind of logical beauty and form of the paradox, irony is an instrument of metacritics and locus of philosophical self-reflexion and literary criticism. This article analyses and discusses the romantic irony and its insertion in the novel Mayombe (1980) by Pepetela. It seeks to understand how romantic irony transforms the work in a space of reflexion about the social problems of its time, enabling the objective exteriorization and at the same time the dialectical incorporation of history. RESUMO: Nossa preocupação, neste estudo, é discutir traços da ironia romântica na literatura do século XX. Em nosso ponto de vista, a presença de um percurso irônico no Romantismo é relevante para o delineamento estético e temático da literatura produzida ao longo do século XX, o que conduz a compreensão de um continum irônico na tradição literária no Brasil. O que se pretende, então, é evidenciar as inovações estéticas presentes no corpus e, acima de tudo, discutir pontos de contato entre Romantismo e Modernismo por meio da abordagem do perfil irônico perceptível no Romantismo e no Modernismo. Traces of romantic irony in the twentieth century literature ABSTRACT: This study discusses the romantic irony as a source of influence on twentieth-century literature. In our view, the presence of ironic traits in Romanticism is relevant to profiling the aesthetics and themes in twentieth century literature, leading to an understanding of an ironical continuum in the literary tradition in Brazil. For that I want to highlight some aesthetic innovations and above all show contact points between Romanticism and Modernism through the discussion of the perceived ironic profiles of the two movements. RESUMO: Hilda Hilst escreveu em diversos gêneros, no entanto, antes de escrever dramaturgia, narrativas e crônicas, ela se dedicava inteiramente aos poemas. Entre 1960 e 1967, Hilda passou por um processo de transformação de sua escrita, que tocou algumas questões inerentes ao Romantismo, tais como a idealização e auto-expressão do poeta. O objetivo deste trabalho é traçar uma leitura que aponte as características românticas desse processo em sua obra poética publicada no período. Nonetheless, she was a devoted poet. Drama and prose had come to her after poetry. Between the years 1960 and 1967, Hilda transformed her way of writing and that resulted in including inherent aspects of Romanticism such as idealization and poet’s self-expression. Taking these changes into account, this paper will establish a reading of Hilda Hilst’s poetic works where romantic characteristics will be pointed out. Este artigo procura responder essas questões a partir da singularidade da poesia de Douglas Diegues, de seu projeto estético e de sua posição específica frente à tradição da literatura brasileira.
